"We need to build citizenship, build citizenship to be the platform for the construction of the country," said the businessman, philanthropist and environmentalist who has been a promoter and advisor to the civil organization Foro Mar de Cortés.
For Luken Aguilar, there are four elements to have a better country: Investment, Knowledge, Rule of Law and Community.
These four elements shape a better organized society, since "we currently live in a country where communities are disjointed," he said.
To explain each one, Mr. Gastón Luken Aguilar used concrete words, pointing out that investment is the engine, knowledge is the fundamental pillar for understanding the needs of communities, the rule of law as what touches governments and community as what touches civil society.
"I want to propose as a concrete agreement the creation of a focus group to find out how we can build civility, citizenship and order", he mentioned, who founded Pronatura Noroeste and has participated in numerous citizen councils in business and governmental bodies.
To make this possible, Don Gaston convened leaders to form a council of businessmen to join efforts to improve social, economic, sustainability, competitiveness and safety conditions to improve the quality of life through the care of natural resources.
This work is a long-term mission, established Don Gaston from the beginning, and will require integrating actions to generate a generational culture, which is interested in building citizenship interested in a better world.
