Valeria Moy to present Sea of Cortez Region indicators at Summit 2023

The Director General of the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness will present the main sustainable development indicators for the region.

The economist Valeria Moy is a recurring guest of Sea of Cortez Forum and in the Summit 2023 Prosperity: A Possible Purpose will give a lecture on conference Sea of Cortez Region Indicatorsin which he will reveal data on sustainable development that this economic zone has.

The Director General of the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO) will develop a comparative ranking of the country's regions in the format of the lower and upper limits of the planet (Dona Methodology), during the event to be held from November 8 to 10, in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.

Valeria Moy, who has participated in the previous Summits of Sea of Cortez Forumgraduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) and has a master's degree in Administration from the London School of Economics.

The economist worked for 11 years at the National Banking and Securities CommissionShe has worked in the areas of Development and Economic Studies, Market Supervision and Stock Market Supervision and was treasury manager at National Provincial Group. She was also a senior researcher for the Harvard Business School based in Mexico for three years.

Prior to assuming the directorship of IMCO, Moy spent four years at the helm of Mexico, How are we doing?a research center focused on Mexico's economic policy.

Since 2001, he has taught macroeconomics at the undergraduate and master's levels at ITAM, is a weekly columnist and has a podcast on economic topics called Peras y Manzanas (Pears and Apples).
