With the slogan Mission Prosperitywill kick off this Wednesday, November 16, the second edition of the Summit from Sea of Cortez Forumwhich will be held at the Grand Fiesta Americana hotel, in Los CabosBaja California Sur.
On November 16, 17 and 18, the summit will present three transcendental projects for the region, which includes the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Nayarit, Sinaloa y Sonora. There will be three keynote speeches, seven panels, two forotalks, a panel discussion and a pitch day. Forty-two speakers will participate and 400 people are expected to attend.
Through this initiative, Sea of Cortez Forum seeks to articulate the efforts of the private sector, civil society, academia and government to build an agenda that promotes the economic and social development of the region in a sustainable and inclusive manner, respecting the limits of the planet.

The projects that will be presented during the summit are:
- Sea of Cortez Region Carbon Neutral Target 2030The objective of this project is to position the Sea of Cortez region as a leading area in terms of integration to achieve sustainable prosperity.
- Prosperity Monitoring Center in the Sea of Cortezwhich is based on the Dona Model and aims to measure economic and socio-environmental variables to set minimum standards of prosperity, while respecting the limits of the planet.
- SDG Action Manager toolA single impact management solution can help all companies set goals, track progress and stay motivated on specific actions to support the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The objective with the actions that will be proposed during the Summit 2022 is to contribute to the reduction of carbon footprint and contribute, as a region, to the achievement of the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN.
Among the speakers who will participate in the Summit 2022 Mission Prosperity of the Sea of Cortez Forum, the following stand out Pablo ZamoraPresident of Fundación Chile and CEO and founder of NotCo, a company that produces alternative plant-based foods through artificial intelligence.
They will also be Christy WaltonThe following are some of the most important figures in Baja California Sur's history: the businesswoman and philanthropist who for many years has developed companies in Baja California Sur that promote economic, community and environmental development; the well-known economist Valeria Moy Camps; Ximena UgarteSocial Responsibility promoter; and Mauricio Bonilla SerranoThe young entrepreneur and innovator who created an artificial cloud to produce water.
Although the activities will begin on Wednesday, November 16, the Summit will be inaugurated on Thursday at 9:45 a.m., with the presence of the governor and governors of the five states that make up the Sea of Cortez region.
