WRI's Director of Global Presence and Local Action will share her vision and experience in urban planning for more sustainable and inclusive cities during the Cities of the Future Summit.

With more than two decades dedicated to promoting sustainable policiesprojects, projects of urban mobility y environmental developmentLobo has been a key player in the city transformation in Latin America.

During the conference entitled "Structural elements in the design of cities."Lobo will share his extensive knowledge on the fundamental factors to be considered in the urban planning. In particular, it will focus on the institutional architecture and legal framework needed to strengthen the municipal planning institutes of the Sea of Cortez Region. The objective is to provide a framework for designing successful cities that are resilient and sustainable in the long term.

Adriana Lobo has led numerous significant projects, such as the implementation of the first rapid transit system by bus (BRT) in the Mexico Cityknown as MetrobusToday, it transports more than 1.5 million passengers daily.

Under his leadership, WRI Mexico grew from five to one hundred employees and expanded its influence internationally with the opening of an office in Colombia. Their work has had a profound impact not only on the urban transportationThe company has also played a key role in the formulation of national mobility and road safety policies in Mexico.

Among its most notable achievements are the introduction of electric buses in several cities in Mexico and Colombia, as well as the promotion of coalitions for urban transformation and the implementation of accelerators for building efficiency and clean energy investments.
