Anne McEnany is a woman who since 1993 has been involved in organizations that have as their objective the environmental conservation. The experience it has accumulated over the past three decades will lead them to the Summit 2023 Prosperity: A Possible Purposewhere she will be one of the exhibitors.
The Senior Program Officer at Alumbra Innovations Foundationwhich is headquartered in La Paz, Baja California Sur, will participate together with Christy Walton y Gabriel Patrón in the conference The Ecosystem and the Prosperity of the Sea of Cortez Regionwhose objective is to provide insight into the perceptions of the communities around La Paz on what prosperity means to them and what they need to achieve it.
The premise is to show that for Sea of Cortez Forum sustainable economic prosperity and the harmonious development of the ecosystem, both in terms of biodiversity and biomass, are neither contradictory nor exclusive, but essentially correlative.

McEnany holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. University of Virginiaand Master of Science in Applied International Development from the University of California, Berkeley, USA. Tulane University.
Her experience within conservation organizations dates back to 1993, when she served as the Fundraising Coordinator for The Nature Conservancy.
She was also the Director of Program Development and Marketing at The Trust for Public Land from 2000 to 2022. From 2002 to 2021 she was with the International Community Foundation, where she was a senior advisor to the Conservation and Environment Program from 2002 to 2012; then from 2013 to 2014 she was vice president and senior program officer for Environmental Conservation Programs; and from 2014 to 2021 she was president and CEO of the same organization.
From June 2021 to the present she is Senior Program Officer at Alumbr Innovations Foundationa.
McEnany is considered a successful executive who leads a cross-impact team focused on Latin America and the Caribbean. She is analytical and strategic, with extensive experience operating new initiatives.
Initiatives in which it is currently involved are improving food system resilience in southern Baja California, eliminating Zika/dengue in Mexico, two impact investments to reduce illegal fishing and prevent plastics from entering rivers and oceans, and improving the capacity of nonprofit organizations.
