She is currently General Director of IMCO, a public policy research center that studies economic and social phenomena that affect Mexico's competitiveness.<\/p><p>Prior to becoming director general of IMCO, the economist headed the IMCO for four years. <strong>Mexico How are we doing?<\/strong>a research center focused on economic policy in Mexico. He also worked at the National Banking and Securities Commission in the areas of Development and Economic Studies, Market Supervision and Stock Market Supervision.<\/p><p>While pursuing her graduate studies, she worked as a consultant for the Strategic Planning and Business Development Group of American Express in London, England. Subsequently, she was treasury director at Grupo Nacional Provincial.<\/p><blockquote><p><strong><em>\"I was a senior researcher for the Harvard Business School based in Mexico for three years. Since 2001 I have taught macroeconomics, at the undergraduate and master's level, at the Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Aut\u00f3nomo de M\u00e9xico (ITAM). I am a weekly columnist and have a podcast on economic issues called Peras y Manzanas.
