Before the participants of the virtual meeting convened by Sea of Cortez Forum<\/strong>indicated that there will be a reasonably good period ahead for Mexico<\/strong> if it is clear to this group that this region, which is composed of Baja California<\/strong>, Baja California Sur<\/strong>, Nayarit<\/strong>, Sinaloa<\/strong> y Sonora<\/strong>is the place of hope and prosperity<\/strong>and that the government, which is the one that should set the conditions for decision making, helps to build this.<\/p>

The Danes are going to have to put a lot of effort into it because Europe is in crisis, so we have a geopolitical card, but we have to choose very well how to play it: towards the north, nearshoring, and in the isthmus, I believe that this is the most important geopolitical issue for Mexico\", he insisted.<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>

Boh\u00f3rquez said that the biggest subsidy that the Government of the Republic will provide for the interoceanic corridor is security, to be provided by the armed forces, because this is the highest cost for a company building a project of this magnitude.<\/p>

\"I am not in favor of militarization, but I understand a little bit of geopolitics and costs, as to know that there will be no inter-oceanic corridor if the companies have to pay for security to build in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, it will not be enough, you start to raise costs exponentially, so it is a more complicated game and that is what I think it is worth understanding,\" he said.<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>
