The strategy ranges from the selection of sustainable suppliers to the implementation of reagents with low environmental impact. There, innovation is aimed not only at reducing emissions, but also at making the plants self-sustainable and even generating <strong>energy<\/strong>.<\/p><p>At <strong>United Kingdom<\/strong>the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stwater.co.uk\/news\/news-releases\/world-first--net-zero-hub--to-be-created-in-staffordshire--\/\"><strong>Severn Trent<\/strong><\/a> builds a plant in <strong>Staffordshire<\/strong> capable of capturing 34,000 tons of carbon per year. It achieves this by combining clean technologies and the production of biogas and biomethane from sludge, in an exemplary model of <strong>circular economy<\/strong>.<\/p><p>In the private sector, companies such as <a href=\"https:\/\/cabreiroa.es\/origen\/\"><strong>Cabreiro\u00e1<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lanjaron.danone.es\/\"><strong>Lanjar\u00f3n<\/strong><\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aquaservice.com\/\"><strong>Aquaservice<\/strong><\/a> have taken important steps towards the <strong>carbon neutrality<\/strong>.
